JAKFED employees call on minister

Srinagar: The JAKFED Employees’ Welfare Union Kashmir today called on the minister for agriculture Abdul Aziz Zargar apprising him of the problems the employees.
In a statement here today a spokesman of the union said the employees in JAKFED have not received their salaries for the last six months nor the CPF is being credited into their accounts for the last four years.
The minister was requested that government should make adequate budgetary support to the JAKFED for its revival. The union said the minister assured the employees that they would be allotted the job of distribution of fertilizers and other necessary commodities.
The minister has also assured them of immediate disbursement of their salaries. Besides CPF would be credited into their accounts.
While hailing the minister for his concern for the employees, the union has hoped that he would issue directions to the authorities to redress employees’ grievances.
