JK Bank to set up chair at BGSBU

Rajouri, Feb 16: Economic Advisor to Government of Jammu and Kashmir and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Dr Haseeb Drabu has announced that J&K Bank will establish a Finance Chair in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri wherein research on finance, financial management and banking services will be carried out.
“We will establish Chair in the University for carrying out research on finance and financial management,” Dr Drabu said in his hour-long lecture delivered in the University on the topic of Finance and Financial Management-Concepts and Careers.
Dr Drabu is the first Chairman of J&K bank who visited this border district after the establishment of J&K Bank.
Chairman Bank in his lecture focused on Finance and Financial Management and also threw light on economic management of resources in the state and emerging trends in global banking.
The lecture was part of the ongoing series of lectures in the University - by experts drawn from all over the country for strengthening the academic programme of the University.
