Ahad Zargar Remembered

Srinagar, Aug 12: Ahad Zargar Memorial Research Foundation on Wednesday organised 27th death anniversary of noted poet Ahad Zargar at his graveyard at Narwara, in the city. Justice (Retd) Bashir Ahmad Kirmani accompanied by DDC Srinagar Mehraj Ahmad Kakru and other released a journal dedicated to Ahad Zargar.
 Some prominent personalities including poet Zarief Ahmad Zarief   and Valley Citizen Council general Secretary Imdad Saqi were felicitated with awards. Earlier Fateh-e-Khawani was held at Zargar’s graveyard which amongst others was attended by a doctor G.Q Allaqaband.
 Ahad Zargar's son Khursheed said the memorial foundation would continue to hold  such events in future as well.
