CBI report baseless: Nayeem reiterates

Srinagar, Dec 18: Senior Hurriyat leader and National Front Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Friday said criticizing pro-freedom leadership over their reaction to CBI report was condemnable as the report was baseless and intended to save the culprits.
“India has maintained silence over innocent killings and rights violations in Kashmir,” Nayeem said while addressing a public gathering in Narbal Chowk after Friday prayers. He was taken in a procession from Jamia Masjid to the chowk by people chanting pro-freedom slogans.
He said the hands of Indian troops were smeared with the innocent blood of Kashmiri people, adding that despite the use of force by India, it could not break the will of pro-freedom leadership which would continue its struggle for right to self-determination.
. He urged the pro-freedom leadership to forge the rapport with public for the benefit of freedom movement.
