US has double standards: Mir
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (R) senior Vice-Chairman, Javid Ahmad Mir, Friday said America had double standards on Kashmir issue for the sake of its own interests and rapport with India.
“For past 60 years America is changing its stand on Kashmir dispute day in and day out and playing with the feelings of people of South Asia,” Mir said addressing a public gathering in Zaingeer Sopur.
He urged the American leadership to come forward with an open policy on Kashmir dispute which would help in its permanent resolution. Mir termed the Central Bureau of Investigation report on Shopian case baseless and a deliberate attempt to cover up the issue.
On one hand the Secretary General of UN, Ban Ki Moon, was impressing upon world community for unity at Copenhagen while at another he had never shown any seriousness about peace in South Asia, he said.
