Karra demands judicial probe in Tufail’s killing
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 13: Senior PDP leader Tariq Hameed Karra while condemning the killing of Tufail Ahmad Matoo of Saida Kadal by a teargas shell has demanded stern action against the perpetrators as he termed it as a pointed killing at a close range.“How can a perpetrator of crime be expected to deliver justice,” he said, and demanded a time bound judicial probe into it.
In a statement, he said that the present government has unleashed worst kind of terror over its people who want to give vent to their bruised, oppressed and suppressed feelings.
“The infamous STF has again being put to action for its notorious activities. Security forces have again started ransacking the houses of people and hundreds of teenagers are being lifted and traded under the garb of stone palters. Booking teenagers under PSA is worst kind of violation of Human Rights by the state government. Even juvenile murderers have separate laws to be dealt by. By exercising such inhuman and brutal force against its own subjects,” Karra said.
