9 labourers hurt in Baglihar blast

Jammu, Dec 25: At least nine laborers were wounded in accidental blast near Baglihar hydroelectric power project site in Ramban district, officials said on Friday.
“Laborers sustained injuries when detonators they were carrying exploded,” they said, adding that injured were immediately shifted to the hospital from where they were referred to Udhampur and Jammu.
“It was a case of negligence and we have taken the cognizance while a case has also been registered,” said an official.
