Srinagar, Dec 26: The state cabinet is meeting in the winter capital on 30th of this month to take up various issues for consideration. The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, will chair the meeting which will start at 11 a.m, official sources said.
Among other things, the cabinet is expected to sanction creation of new posts in various departments, especially in the Health and Medical Education, they said, adding several routine matters would also come up for discussion.
Asked whether the cabinet would consider the report of the Working Group on Centre-State relations headed by Justice (retd) Saghir Ahmad, which was submitted to the Chief Minister early this week, sources said, “as of now, the report is not on the agenda as the Law Department may have to examine it before that.”
