This refers to the role of Indian intelligentsia viz –a-viz Shopian double rape and murder. We are shocked to some apparently well meaning people like Prem Shankar Jha supporting the CBI lie so shamelessly. I first thought him to be one of the saner voices in India but his atrocious role in twisting the facts and pleading a total fabrication on Indian media has shattered his image. Such so called Kashmir Experts must be shown their own face.  It's quite painful to see him support the CBI drowning theory so brazenly. And everybody knows this CBI `finding's is a conclusion which New Delhi had scripted for them before they could actually `investigate'. This must be first time in history that two human beings are `drowned' in an ankle deep water. What is more ridiculous on his part is that without seeing the other side of the truth he is supporting it blindly borrowing some ready made examples which suit politicians in Delhi. Politics apart, it's a plain human issue where two innocent women have been raped and murdered. The best way is to step in the shoes of victims. Imagine it has happened to those who so casually brush it out as a case of drowning. Will they still defend the criminals. You must know what does it mean to be a husband to a raped and murdered wife, brother to a raped and murdered sister.
