Vet camp at Budwani Qazigund

Qazigund Dec 29: The Block Veterinary Officer Qazigund today organised a veterinary clinical cum awareness camp in village Cheki Budwani wherein a large number of farmers participated.
 About 169 animals were treated for various diseases and free of cost medicines were also distributed. A large number of animals were also immunised against Haemorrhagic Septicemia and Black Quarter Diseases.
 Experts provided know-how of modern animal husbandry practices including importance of feeding balanced feed to animals, formation of cooperatives, Artificial Breeding, fodder cultivation etc. Dr M A Reshi, Chief A H Officer, of the district presided over the camp.
