Govt for complete ban on polythene

Srinagar, Dec 8: The Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, said the government would enforce complete ban on the polythene bags.
 An official handout said the minister asked the Srinagar Municipal Corporation authorities to intensify the drive against polythene and ensure that polythene carry bags does not enter into the City.
 The handout quoting Tara said: “The Valley has earned a name in the country by completely banning the polythene bags and people had themselves also realized that polythene bags create hazardous effects for the human beings as well as the environment.”
