GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Nov 10: Bajaj’s new offering in the 100cc segment, the Discover DTS-Si, has sold a record 2,00,000 numbers in first 100 days of its launch.
This is possibly a new volume benchmark for any bike launch in the country. The company has already ramped up the production with the help of its Pantnagar capacity to meet the overwhelming demand for the product, it said in a statement here today. The overwhelming response on Discover has led to a stock out situation in some dealerships. The above can be mainly attributed to the positive word of mouth from the customers and the extremely favorable reviews and accolades from expert bikers from the industry. Discover’s performance is reflected in this festive season’s sale, which has seen a massive demand jump for the Bajaj range of Motorcycles. Bajaj Auto’s sales have jumped 52 per cent yoy in the month of October on the back of the phenomenal response to new 100cc Discover DTS-Si. The motorcycle industry grew by 133,000 numbers this festive season with 117,000 of this increase being contributed by Bajaj alone. This upward momentum in share is likely to continue even post festive season with the new Discover getting even greater acceptance
This super-fuel-efficient bike gives an on-road, mileage of 80 km/litre on account of the ‘Digital Twin Spark - Swirl induction’ version 2.0 engine series that powers the bike. The Bajaj DISCOVER DTS-Si Electric start comes in five colors at an attractive price of Rs. 40,000 (Ex- Showroom).
