SC Singh takes over charge of POWERGRID, NRTS-II

Srinagar, Nov 11: Subash Chandra Singh has taken over the charge of Northern Region Transmission System–II Operations of POWERGRID as General Manager (In-charge).
Singh is a Graduate Electrical Engineer and a competent professional with over 32 years of extensive experience in project management, execution, construction, operations and maintenance in power, oil and coal sectors. Singh is considered as an adroit in managing, executing/supervising construction activities from resource planning, deployment, contracting, vendor management, project costing and estimation driving towards success of the project.
Prior to joining POWERGRID in 1991, Singh, according to a statement issued by the corporation, has served in premier organizations of the country like NTPC, Indian Oil Corporation, Coal India Ltd, Maharashtra State Electricity Board and Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Among his specific achievements are project management and execution of more than 10,000 CKT Kms of EHV transmission lines and substations in the country.
