HC directs govt to appoint chairman SAC

Jammu, Nov 13: In a significant development, the High Court today directed the state to take steps for appointment of the chairperson of State Accountability Commission without any further delay.
The Court said if the State was not contemplating to wind up the commission, then it should appoint the chairperson SAC.
Justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru passed the direction in a petition filed by one Iftikhar Khan Salaria.
