EDI to launch CM’s entrepreneurship dev scheme from Dec 5

Pampore, Nov 14: The 11 days Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) organized by the J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Pampore in association with Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) and District Industries Centre (DIC) concluded here.
The Incharge Academics, Dr S Khurseed ul Islam while addressing the gathering said the Institute had been conducting a series of such programmes across the State to provide the Entrepreneurial skills among the prospective entrepreneurs.
During these programmes, professional trainers and faculty were hired to impart the training and apprise the participants about the advantages of the scheme.
He also said the Institute is also going to launch Chief Minister’s Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (CMEDS) from 5th of December 2009, he highlighted the salient features of this new scheme so that the information about it is spread utmost for the benefit of people.
In addition to this he also emphasized them to motivate other youth hankering after the government jobs to avail this scheme and become job providers than employment seekers.
