JKSCB celebrates cooperative week

Srinagar, Nov 14: The J&K State Cooperative Bank today organized a function to celebrate cooperative week at its central office, here.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted the role of cooperative movement in India. They said the cooperative model was an alternative business model for the future.
On this occasion it was revealed that the bank has upgraded its four branches from manual operations to the computerization. The four branches are in Soura, Lai Bazar, Daderhama and Kangan.
Managing Director of bank informed the gathering that Bank shall achieve 100 per cent computerization within shortest possible time and all operations of the Bank shall work on line from January 2010.
These up gradations shall now extend the full day business hours, quick and timely services to the clients.
