Kashmiri sculptor bags prize

Srinagar: A Kashmiri sculptor bagged the top prize in International Delphic Games Art Competition at Jeju, South Korea.
Shabir Mirza of Srinagar was chosen as the best sculptor by the jury comprising Prof In-Su-Choi of Seoul National University of Fine Arts and Terry Shave of Nottingham Trent University College London.
The three-dimensional sculpture created by the artists in the competition was titled “New World Order” which attracted a number of visitors at the campsite.
Shabir Mirza is former principal of Institute of Music and Fine Art.
Meanwhile, the faculty and students of the Institute have felicitated him for wining the prize.
