Contradictory statements

This refers to the interview of Sajjad Gani Lone in Greater Kashmir. I was surprised to read his views about the Hurriyat Conference (G) and (M). On one hand, he has called Hurriyat (G) as a deadwood, but on the other he is praising its chairman, Syed Ali Geelani. Likewise, he is criticizing Mirwaiz Umar Farooq for “running errands” on behalf of India and Pakistan, but on the other, he says the Hurriyat (M) has a pragmatic policy. What does Mr Lone want to convey by making such contradictory statements? It seems that Lone still lacks that clarity in his approach, policy and views on Kashmir issue and the leadership in Jammu and Kashmir. Let Sajjad Lone think once again and see what he achieved from the elections. I think at the end of the day, Lone lost his credibility among the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier he would be seen as a very strong voice who could head the separatist spectrum in future.
