The only solution is to privatize education

This refers to the State Government’s dilemma whether to ban the private tuition or not. Private tuition has become a fashion rather than a necessity in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the Valley. Since the tuition has entered into every house in Kashmir, the government cannot ban it like it is not able to ban the doctors’ private practice. In case the government decides to ban private tuition, it will be the students from lower middle class who will suffer. I think the government should either privatize Education Department or a circular should be issued which will make it mandatory for government employees to enroll their wards in Government Schools.
