Staff vows to realize Khwaja’s mission

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Nov 27: The staff members of the daily Aftab on Friday vowed to carry forward the mission of their chief editor, late Khwaja Sanaullah Bhat.
The editor of Aftab, Zahoor Hashmi, said, “Khwaja showed us the right path. We will never succumb to any pressure or concessions. We will continue to carry his mission of highlighting matters concerning people. In fact as a mark of tribute to him, Aftab was published even on the day of his death,” Hashmi said.
The printer, publisher and proprietor of Aftab, Ghulam Muhammad Mir said, “We express our gratitude to the people of the Valley who shared our grief and gave us courage to carry on with Khwaja Sahib’s mission,” Mir said.
Khwaja’s close associate, Muhammad Jamal, said people should help to realize his dream of helping poor. “He wanted to fight the social evils and help the needy and poor,” he added.
