1 dies, 16 hurt in road mishap

Kulgam, Nov 4: One person died and 16 other were severely injured when a minibus plunged into a deep gorge near Devsar in this south Kashmir town on Wednesday.
 Eyewitnesses said the overloaded minibus (JK03-1912), coming from Islamabad plunged into the deep gorge at 10:45 AM.
 Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Yatou resident of Hadilishee died on spot while 16 others were severely injured. The condition of two of the injured was stated to be critical. They have been admitted in Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science, Soura.
 Police has arrested the driver Shahlal Ahmad Wani son of Bashir Ahmad Wani resident of Chian Adigam and lodged a FIR (No 290) under section 279, 337, 427 of RPC.
