HDC employees without salary

Srinagar, Nov 4: The employees of State Handloom Development Corporation, Kashmir, are without salaries for the past eight months.
 In a statement today, a spokesman of the All State Handloom Development Corporation Employees’ Association accused the Finance department of delaying inordinately issuance of orders on the release of pending salaries to the Corporation employees and workers on flimsy grounds. It has demanded immediate implementation of recommendations of Dr Drabu Committee report in toto revival of state public sector enterprise.
 Meanwhile, the Association has supported the JCC strike call for November 5.
