Mirwaiz pays tributes to Jammu martyrs

Srinagar: Paying rich tributes to November 6, 1947, Jammu martyrs, the Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Moulvi Umar Farooq, today said the amalgam would organize special functions at all district headquarters on November 6, in their memory.
 “The largest function in memory of these martyrs will be organized at the central Jamia Masjid, Srinagar, where Mirwaiz is scheduled will pay tributes to them. Special prayers will also be offered on the occasion,” said a spokesman of the Hurriyat in a statement on Wednesday.
 Meanwhile, the Democratic Political Movement general secretary, Abdul Rashid Dar, has also paid glowing tributes to the November 6, Jammu martyrs. 
 “The communal forces on November 6, 1947, martyred mercilessly thousands of Muslims including children and women,” said the spokesman.
