Awareness camp on self-employment held

Srinagar, Oct 18: The District Employment and Counseling Centre Shopian in collaboration with J&K Bank Lead Office Shopian arranged an awareness camp at Degree College Shopian on the self-employment program.
The camp was attended by a large number of college students who showed their keen interest in different schemes sponsored by different government departments/agencies and J&K Bank.
The government agencies like KVIB, DIC, and DRDA also took part in the awareness camp. The speakers on the occasion brief the participants on the role various agencies in the uplift of the society.
A number of college faculty members were also present.
