Blue bay launches new brand in valley

Srinagar, Oct 4: Bluebay Design Concepts—a multi-national company— launched Riviera, a leading brand in bathroom fittings, at a local hotel here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Ativ Gupta, managing director, Bluebay Design Concepts (P) Ltd, said the company was operating here for the past one year “though on a low key note.”
He deliberated upon different Riviera series. “Our products may not be economical, but these are certainly better from others. We have always believed in customer satisfaction,” he said.
He said the products would be available at B M Sales Corporation here.
Gupta said the Riviera is a 35 year old brand that was earlier known as Dripless. Under this brand products like mixers, cartridges, faucets, etc have been launched in India,” he said.
The company, he said, has got offices in Mumbai, Kolkata, Germany, China and other places.
“We have among our valued customers various reputed organizations like Hotel Ashoka, Hotel Taj, Holiday Inn and others. But then we thought we should cater to middle-class market as well,” he said.
Gupta said the company has always taken plumbers into confidence before coming up with new products.
He announced some schemes for plumbers including coupon scheme and also took their feedback on the spot about the products.
“We will also take some selected plumbers from Kashmir to Delhi and train them there about our technology,” he said.
Bashir Ahmad Shah, proprietor B M Sales Corporation, thanked dealers for making the launch of Riviera in Srinagar a success.
“I am hopeful this product will go much ahead in the local market, for which efforts are needed to be done by all of us,” he said.
He said they were in consultation with official authorities to get their products approved for government departments, hospitals and other institutions.
“Many of our products are already going to Kashmir University and Airport,” he said.
Besides, commercial sales officer, many other officials of the company were present on the occasion.
