APKCC invites Kashmiri leadership

Srinagar: The All Parties Kashmir Coordination Committee has invited several pro-freedom leaders from both sides of line of control to attend intra Kashmir Conference in London on October 24.
In a statement, the APKICC president, Muhammad Ghalib said that Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabir Ahmed Shah, Yasin Malik, Muhammad Afzal Sheikh, Chief Editor Kashmir Times Ved Bhasin, President High Court Bar Association and Mian Abdul Qayyum have been invited.
The Conference, he said would bring together the leaders including representatives of Hindu community to reflect on the challenges facing Kashmir.
He hoped that both the government of India and the United Kingdom would facilitate the conference by issuing visa and travel documents to the participants.
