Police and paramilitary troops on Wednesday cordoned the City centre of Lal Chowk for frisking operations.
 Witnesses said police asked people to assemble on one side of the road till the search operations were completed. The vehicular traffic was also suspended at intervals.
 “The police also asked some questions about our movement,” said a student.
 To mention, security in the City centre has been intensified after an attack on CRPF troops two days ago when two paramilitary personnel were gunned down by unidentified gunmen.
