Wipro BPO hosts mega job fest in Jammu

Jammu, Sept 2: Wipro BPO, a subsidiary of global IT giant Wipro, and CT Group of Institutions jointly held a mega job Fest in Jammu giving an opportunity to the youth to make career with one of India’s foremost companies.
Associate Vice President, Talent Acquisition of Wipro BPO Tarun Kumar Nehra said that the Job Fest, held on Monday at the ICFAI National College, Behind City Farms Banquet, Opposite Greater Kailash, Jammu, was a big success and the Talent Hunt team of Wipro got good response both from professional qualified aspirants as well as general line candidates.
“Currently, WBPO is looking for graduates and post-graduates across streams (other than B.E., B.Tech, MCA and MBA),” he informed adding that as the candidates in the state have very less opportunities thus they turned up in a big number.
While sharing the company’s plan on the Job Fest with Greater Kashmir, Tarun Kumar Nehra said, “We are thrilled to be in Jammu and offer career opportunities to the youth. We are aware that there is a very large and high quality talent pool available here and at the same time there are less job opportunities thus we came to the doorstep of the candidates to get best out of them and we are thankful to CT Group of Institutions for supporting us”.

He further said that all interested candidates in the age groups 18 – 45 years of age were eligible to apply. “The only pre-requisite was that applicants should possess good English communication skills. For those who may need some guidance on the BPO industry and the career opportunity with Wipro BPO, the company is also organizing an orientation session,” Nehra informed.
