KU’s plantation drive concludes, VC satisfied

Srinagar, Mar 31: The Vice-Chancellor, Kashmir University, Professor Riyaz Punjabi on Wednesday expressed happiness over the conclusion of the weeklong plantation drive organized by National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of the KU.
 Prof Punjabi said: “Plantation drive in the university is aimed at educating our younger generation that they have a pivotal role in strengthening and sustaining life systems. Greenery and plantation is the very soul of this life system.”
 During the drive, more than 40,000 saplings were planted.
