‘Employees’ suspension unfortunate’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar: Reacting to the suspension of teaching and non-teaching staff in some schools by the Education minister, Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed on Monday, the J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum president, M Usman Malik termed it unfortunate.
Usman said the detentions and suspension of employees and their leaders would not deter them from pursuing their demands. He threatened that the Forum would start “court arrest movement” if the government continued with its ‘stubbornness’.
Meanwhile, Usman supported the JCC move exempting the government schools from strike and asking the teachers to teach the students in schools from 8. 30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. He appealed the plus two lecturers to work and not sign the arrival registers as mark of protest.
