628 employees attend Secretariat: Government

Jammu, Apr 12: The essential services, including health, water and power supply functioned normally in the state, while about 628 employees attended their duties in Civil Secretariat and the State Legislature complex, an official spokesman said Monday.
The spokesman said that all areas in the State received normal water and power supply, while routine work in the Hospitals went on smoothly, with 80% to 100% attendance in the associated hospital of Government Medical College, Jammu. The spokesman said that 1703 patients were attended in Emergency/OPD/IPD and besides, conducting 31 major/minor surgeries, 307 X-rays/USG/CT Scan and 346 lab- investigations were conducted in the Associated Hospitals of Government Medical College, Jammu, today.
In the health institutions working under the control of Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, 10853 patients were attended in OPD/IPD and 129 major/minor surgeries were performed, besides conducting 356 X-rays/ USG and 1225 Lab. Investigations.
Similarly, in the Associated Hospitals of GMC, Srinagar, 1644 patients were attended in Emergency/OPD/IPD, while 103 major/minor surgeries were performed, besides, 356 X-rays 823 Lab. Investigations were conducted, today.
Likewise, in the Health institutions working under the control of Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, 14160 patients were attended in OPD/IPD and 498 major/minor surgeries were performed, besides conducting 601 X-rays/ECG/ USG and 2529 Lab. Investigations.
At SKIMS, Srinagar, 917 patients were checked up in OPD/emergency, while 36 major/minor surgeries were performed and 116 patients admitted and 112 discharged. About 188 MRI/CT Scan/ USG/X-rays were also conducted.
