JK Bank opens 2 ATMs in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr13: J&K Bank opened two ATMs in South Kashmir at Kulgam. Minister for social welfare Sakina Itoo inaugurated one ATM at central market Kulgam today. District Developmental Commissioner Kulgam M A Lone initiated another in the premises of District office complex yesterday.
 Itoo, according to a statement issued by the bank, “lauded the role of JK Bank management under the leadership of Dr. Haseeb A Drabu in providing world class facilities to the far off areas of state.”
 She expressed hope that such facilities shall be provided to all tehsil headquarters of Kulgam district.
 DDC Kulgam hailed the bank for “uplift of downtrodden”. He asked the people not only to take advantage of the schemes tailored by the bank but also strengthen this institution.
 Zonal Head South Kashmir   B.A Lone assured the public that management of Bank shall leave no stone unturned to provide facilities to the people of state in particular to the rural areas.

Srinagar, Apr 13: The J&K Bank dedicated an ATM to the people at Kunzar, a picturesque township on Srinagar-Gulmarg Road.  Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Agriculture inaugurated the facility. Mir hailed the Bank for extensive credit dispensation and massive micro-financing in the area.
 Abdul Hamid Banday, Bank’s Zonal Head for North Kashmir gave a detailed account of the achievements the Bank has made over past few years.
 “North Kashmir has registered a whopping 29 per cent credit growth,” Banday said, adding that the Bank’s LPG Connection Finance has received an overwhelming public response.
 Aijaz Ahmed, head business unit Kunzar thanked locals for their cooperation. “It is your cooperation that has made this branch to register a business of Rs 22 crore and achieve 6000 account strength in just one and a half year,” he said.
