Bhalla for action against occupants of Nazool property

Jammu, Apr 15: The Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla today expressed concern over the complaints about the change in entries of Nazool property without proper sanction of the competent authority.
Chairing a meeting, he pointed out that there had been that properties worth crores have changed hands by effecting registration on the basis of forged documents.
Bhalla stressed the need for maintaining up-to-date database of the properties of the Nazool and directed the DC, Jammu to constitute a committee to assess, survey and enquire into the revenue records pertaining to the Nazool property, and asked for submitted the report within a week. He also directed Deputy Commissioner, Jammu to identify illegal occupants of Nazool property, other than those who have applied under the Roshni Scheme and take necessary action against illegal occupants.
