22 KAS officers promoted

Jammu, Apr 16: The Government today accorded sanction to the promotion of 22 Selection Grade officers to the Special Scale of Rs. 37,400-67,000 with grade pay of Rs. 8700 of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service with effect from 6.4.2010. The officers are:

2. Fida Hussain ,
3. Reyaz Ahmad Zargar,
4. Farooq Ahmad Khan,
5. Anil Sharma,
6. Abdul Rashid Dar
7. Ghulam Ahmad Khwaja,
8. Mohammad Hussain Malik,
9. Mohammad Javed Khan,
10. Altaf Hussain,
11. Rajinder Krishan Varma,
12. Shabir Ahmad Bhat,
13. Parvez Iqbal Khateeb,
14. Ghulam Hassan Mir,
15. Dr. Irshad Ahmad Jan,
16. Dr. Abdul Rashid,
17. Abdul Rashid Parray,
18. Farooq Ahmad Khan,
19. Mushtaq Ahmad Sidiqui,
20. Resham Kashyap,
21. Manzoor Ahmad Shah,
22. Jehangir Mir.
The promotion of officers from S. Nos. 1 to 4 shall be against the vacancies available in the Special Scale of KAS within the cadre. The promotion of the remaining officers to the Special Scale shall be subject to superior claim/lien of those officers holding these posts on ex-cadre basis.
The officers at S. Nos 7, 9, 10, 17, 19 and 21 are designated as Special Secretaries to Government in their respective departments.
The officer at S. No. 11 is designated as Special Secretary to Chief Secretary.
The officer at S. No. 8 is designated as Director, Area Planning and ex-officio Special Secretary to Government, Planning and Development Department.
The officer at S. No. 14 is designated as Special Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission.
Meanwhile, Ashwani Kumar Khajuria, Deputy Director Information, PR, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate, (SDM), R S Pura.
