Hizb reacts to Gen. Singh’s statement

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Apr 16: Reacting to the Army Chief General V K Singh’s statement that any dilution in the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) would have adverse impact on the confidence of armed forces, Hizbul Mujahideen spokesman Ehsan Illahi on Friday termed it as unfortunate.
In a statement today from Pakistan administered Kashmir, Ehsan Illahi said the AFSPA was a tyrannical and fascist law giving freehand to armed forces to kill anyone. “Under the protection of this draconian law, the armed forces have been carrying out massacres of innocent civilians and indulging in the acts of arson, loot and rape in Jammu Kashmir for the past two decades. They have not even spared innocent children and students. They killed teenagers like Inayat, Wamiq Farooq, Zubair and thousands of others without any provocation,” he said.
