Rich tributes paid to S Hamid

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Peoples League on Saturday organised a seminar to mark the 12th Martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Inkilaab S. Hamid.
On the occasion, the acting Chairman Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said that sacrifices by Kashmir highlight the long-standing Kashmir dispute at the international level.
“Since 1947 India has been trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force but failed in its evil designs,” he said. Waza paid rich tributes to S Hamid saying the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiris would not be let go in vain. Pertinently, S Hamid Wani of Sopore was arrested and allegedly killed in custody on April 18, 1998 in Soura Srinagar.
