Saroori inspects valley works

Srinagar, Apr 18: The R&B Minister, G M Saroori today inspected various road projects, construction of bridges and hospital buildings here.
Saroori inaugurated Hanjiveera bridge at Pattan and inspected Channapora, Tangpora and Lasjan bridges, directing the officials to expedite the construction work of Hyderpora flyover so that one way traffic could be made possible by December.
Inspecting Highway from Qazigund to Khanabal, he asked officials to complete the work on Khanabal-Pahalgam road before May 15.
During inspection of District Hospital, Islamabad, he announced release of Rs 25 lakh out of his CDF and directed the authorities for immediate release of Rs 70 lakh so that the hospital building could be completed on time.
Saroori asked the officials to take steps for beautification of city by planting saplings besides ensuring landscaping.
