Shamima lays foundation of footbridge

Srinagar, Apr 18: State Commission for Women, chairperson Shamima Firdous laid the foundation of footbridge at Karfalli Mohalla here on Saturday.
The bridge will connect the Mohalla with Syed Mansoor Sahib Road.             
Speaking on the occasion, Shamima said the funds had been released and the demand of the locals had been fulfilled.
She said the government led by Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah had launched development across the State on equitable basis adding the government was committed to provide facilities to the people particularly in the City, which was ignored in the past.
