WLCI conducts exam

Srinagar, Apr 18: Wigan and Leigh College India in collaboration with Greater Kashmir and Kashmir Uzma conducted the examination of more than 200 students across the valley in two examination centres at Srinagar and Pulwama on Sunday.
The examination was aimed at stimulating and exploring the potential of students in the Valley and to prepare them for the competition at global level. The first three toppers will be given cash prizes and 50 meritorious students, merit certificates.
The College, which has its origin in UK, is also contemplating to provide scholarships to the meritorious students desirous to go for further studies with WLCI.
“WLCI has a unique pattern of training program which provides Earn While You Learn,” College Director, Mir Nasim said.
He said given the prevailing situation of unemployment in the country, more particularly in Valley, an alternative could be available with institutions like WLCI imparting training in developing attitude and skills of communication clubbed with the knowledge in relevance with the corporate sector.
