Man alleges harassment by former renegades

UMER MAQBOOL DAR

Handwara, Apr 1: A resident of Handwara has approached the police complaining harassment by former renegades and informers.
Muhammed Maqbool Ganai of Suddergund Hanga told Greater Kashmir that three former Ikhwanis had turned his life miserable. “Few days back, army raided our house at their behest and harassed the inmates on pretext of militants hiding in the house,” he said, adding he was worried about the safety of his two daughters.
The complaint approached SP Handwara, who asked his subordinates to look into the matter.
