SMC dumps stray dogs at Old Channapora: Residents

Srinagar, Apr 21: The residents of Old Chanapora here today accused the Srinagar Municipal Corporation of dumping stray dogs at Pamposh Colony on Tuesday night.
 A delegation told Greater Kashmir that these dogs were allegedly brought in the two municipality vehicles. “Two children were attacked by these dogs on Wednesday morning,” the residents said adding the children were refusing to go to their educational institutions fearing the dog attacks.
 The residents threatened to come on streets if the SMC failed to take any action in this regard.
