SSM’s MBA students stage night protests

MEHAK FAYAZ

Srinagar, Apr 21: The Masters in Business Adminstration students of Sir Syed Memorial college, Parihaspora Wednesday stayed back in the college and held night protests against the administration.
The students complained that the college authorities were not refunding their fee and returning their degree certificates.
“We will stay in the college for whole night,” the students told Greater Kashmir over phone. The row started after the Kashmir University declined to accept the examination forms of these candidates admitted by the SSM College last year, forcing them to boycott classes and hold protests.
“Our career is at stake. The Kashmir University is not admitting us even after a period of three months. We cannot apply elsewhere for other course as the college is not returning our degree certificates,” said the students.
