Unusual guests at FM’s office
Jammu, Apr 22: The Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather had ‘unusual guests’ in his chamber at the Civil Secretariat here on Thursday as Union Minister for Renewable Energy Dr Farooq Abdullah and his son and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah walked in.
Most of the people in the secretariat were surprised as Dr Farooq accompanied by Omar entered the premises together in the official vehicle of the later at around 11 AM. Both took the route of the CM’s secretariat to reach the office of the finance minister Abdul Rahim Rather, who was attending the official work along with some senior officers of his department sitting in his room, sources said.
“It was an unusual visit as CM had himself walked to the office of his cabinet colleague and that too in the company of his father, Dr Farooq Abdullah”, sources told Greater Kashmir.
The trio had a closed-door meeting for around 15 minutes following which they left the secretariat together, sources added.
