DPM condemns leader's re-arrest

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Apr 24: The Democratic Political Movement acting chairman, advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi, strongly condemned the re-arrest of party chairman, Fridous Ahmad Shah, and senior party leader Shakeel Ahmad Bhat and his shifting to some ‘unknown’ place.
Reshi, according to DPM spokesman, expressed serious concern over the falling health of Shah.
Reshi said such repressive measures by the government could not deter the pro-freedom people from pursuing the cause of freedom. He said Kashmir issue could be better resolved through implementation of UN Resolutions.
Meanwhile, Reshi has strongly condemned the police action against peaceful protesters during strike on Friday. It has condemned the killing of an innocent civilian by army at Kelar in Pulwama district.
