Pollution everywhere

This refers to the article' 'Kashmir-No more a paradise" by Mubashir Mufti.(GK 22-04-10). It is indeed a fact that Kashmir is no longer a paradise. It stands polluted. The condition of lakes and other water bodies in the Valley is deteriorating day by day. Deforestation is at its peak. Air we breathe is dirty. Tourist places have been polluted. What is the fun of the celebrating Earth Day when we have damaged the planet by our actions? The Government of Jammu and Kashmir should take steps in this regard. Moreover we all have to act individually to save our natural resources.
