Dr Kamal distributes scholarships

Srinagar, Apr 26: The MLA Hazratbal, Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal distributed cheques worth Rs 5.80 lakh among the 58 beneficiaries under various schemes of Social Welfare Department at a function in the City.
An official handout said: “As many as 429 students were provided scholarships, 769 Gada Hanjis were given financial assistance while 4307 person got financial assistance under ISSS.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kamal said government had initiated several schemes for the upliftment of the economically backward.
He appealed the people to extent their full support to the government in implementing the various developmental and welfare scheme and projects across the state
