Edu officers, Bemina Coordination grieved at Banday’s demise

Srinagar: J&K Teachers’ Forum and +2 Lecturers’ Forum have expressed sorrow over the demise of Ghulam Ahmad Banday of Najan, Beeru, father of Zahoor Ahmad Banday, head of the cultural wing, directorate of school education, Kashmir.
Banday passed away on Sunday after protracted illness.
The deceased was a noted teacher and academician who had worked on different positions in the education department and retired as district education officer. The Rasm-e-Chaharum of the deceased, according to family, is being observed on Wednesday, at his ancestral village, Najan, Beeru.
The DSE, Kashmir, Shugufta Parveen, and the CEO, Srinagar, Ghulam Hassan Malik, have expressed grief over the demise and sympathized with the bereaved.
Meanwhile, the Bemina Coordination Committee president Muhammad Shafi Shah also mourned the demise.
