KCCI general secretary resigns
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Apr 27: Constitution of a trust by the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has triggered a major controversy in the chamber with some members opposing it.
The chamber’s action has led its general secretary Nasir Hamid Khan to resign from the post.
Talking to Greater Kashmir Khan said the establishment of “Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry Skill Development Trust or other such bodies is against the constitution of KCCI.”
According to Khan, who continues to be the member of the executive committee of the chamber, the trust has emerged as a parallel body to the KCCI.
According to Nasir the present Executive Members of the chamber in a recent meeting objected to the formation of various such autonomous bodies by the then executive committee of the chamber.
