Amarnath yatra to commence on July 1

Jammu, Apr 28:A high level meeting of district and police administration was held here today to discuss the arrangements for ensuing Amarnath yatra. Principal Secretary to Governor and Chief Executive Officer of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, R. K. Goyal and Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal chaired the meeting.
It was informed that this year yatra will commence on July Ist and continue till 24th of August. Detailed review of various issues pertaining to smooth conduct of yatra was done keeping in view the convenience of devotees.
