Aziz Kashmiris’ demise mourned

Srinagar, Apr 28: Various mainstream and separatists parties today expressed grief over the demise of veteran journalist and Chief Editor Urdu daily Roshni, Abdul Aziz popularly known as Aziz Kashmiri, who passed away on Tuesday.
Pradesh Congress Committee chief, Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz said Aziz was known for his knowledge on diverse subjects and expressed ideas with courage of conviction.
He said Aziz’s contribution to the development of Urdu journalism was immense and his death was great loss to the media.
Soz conveyed his condolences to the bereaved and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.The Hurriyat Conference (M) also expressed sorrow over the demise. Hurriyat delegation visited the residence of deceased and sympathized with his family. The members offered special prayers for the deceased.
Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement chairman, Zaffar Akbar Bhat has grieved over the demise, describing his services as unforgettable. He sympathized with bereaved.
The Awami National Conference, at a condolence meeting here, expressed sorrow over the demise, describing it a great loss. The meeting prayed for the deceased and sympathized with the bereaved. Party delegation visited the residence of deceased.
